Subscription service GiggedIn wants to be the ‘Netflix for gigs’ [Sydney Morning Herald]

GiggedIn is Netflix for gigs – except you will need to get off your couch.
That’s sort of the point, says CEO Edwin Onggo, of the subscription service that launches in Melbourne this month: “to get more fans out of their homes and into venues to experience the amazingness that is live music.”
Starting at $35 a month, fans can browse a menu of around 20 shows per week in 200 to 2000-capacity venues and click to be added to the guest list.
The catch is the gigs will mostly be listed just two days before showtime, but the odd exclusive GiggedIn event sweetens the deal. The first of these are Tkay Maidza at Howler on May 25 and Harts at John Curtin Hotel on May 28.
